Preservation Itemization

The literal, atomic inventory — not a category, the actual verbatim content, exact URLs, and real numbers that must survive the rebuild. Every item below is fetched live, pulled from the raw Screaming Frog crawl, or pulled from Moz Pro. Nothing here is reconstructed from memory or summary.

The Homepage — Literal Body Copy

Live Moz Pro data confirms the bare homepage — not a dedicated lessons page — is the exact page producing five separate top-10 keyword rankings. If the new homepage doesn't carry forward the substance of this text, none of these rankings are guaranteed to survive.

What this means for the rebuild

The new homepage doesn’t have to reuse this exact wording (the O.U.R. section is being removed per client decision). But the density and specificity of location terms throughout is very likely part of why this page ranks #1. The new copy should be written by someone who has read this verbatim text first.

Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals - Haleiwa, North Shore, Oahu, HI Yes! Rainbow Watersports Adventures rents stand up paddle boards in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu! We have quality boards and paddles of all sizes so you'll have the perfect board for your ability and the water conditions. All rental packages include: board, paddle, and leash. Call 1-800-470-4964 to reserve your stand up paddle board & kayak rentals or book online. Hourly Rate: $20/hr Daily Rate: $60/day Call for weekly rate and drop off/pick up rate. *For safety, first time paddlers wanting to rent, are required to get a brief dry-land orientation by one of our awesome instructors to learn some basic skills. This orientation is a one-time $20 flat fee for your whole group in addition to the hourly rate per board. (Example: If you've never paddled before and are ready to rent 3 boards for 1 hour. Pricing is $20 (intro) + $20/hr/board = $80 total) We always encourage our paddlers to take the full 2 hour lesson, which will give you the skills to become confident paddlers, and guarantee you a great time on the water. However, if you have limited time, or a tight budget, renting may be the right option for you. The water can be unpredictable and your safety is our top priority. This is why we require our renters to either have previous experience or begin your rental with a dry-land lesson. If you do not have previous stand up paddle experience, the dry-land lesson is required before renting. You will learn the basic skills necessary for stand up paddling before heading off on your own. Your experience will be safer and you will paddle with more confidence. Dry-land lesson takes about 20 minutes and is a flat rate of $20 for your whole group. *For the safety of our paddlers and others in the surf breaks, we do not rent our equipment for wave riding. Click here for a map or call for directions. *credit card required for security deposit NEW! — *Ask us about our Kayak rentals!*

Real discrepancy surfaced by pulling this verbatim

This page states SUP board rental is $20/hr, $60/day — but the $30/hr figure used earlier in this project's research (and a separately-cited "$100/day" Kayak Rental figure used throughout other project documentation) does not appear anywhere on this live page. The page only says "Ask us about our Kayak rentals!" — no number given. The $100/day Kayak Rental figure repeated elsewhere in this project has no confirmed live-page source. Needs direct client confirmation, not a carried-forward assumption.

The entire site's H1 inventory is one line, repeated 152 times

Every one of the 152 crawled pages carries the exact same H1, byte for byte:Rainbow Watersports Stand Up Paddle Lessons Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii ☏ 1-800-470-4964 or (808) 470-4332That’s the site header text, not page content. With a single identical value sitewide, this signal carries zero differentiating information across 152 pages. FAQ page — all 15 Q&A pairs, verbatim

Google fully deprecated the FAQ rich-result feature as of May 7, 2026, and no schema type has ever made a page eligible for a standard featured snippet. This content still gets FAQPage markup for machine-readability, not as a snippet play.

1. What is stand up paddling?

It's a top-of-the-water magic carpet ride! With a super stable paddleboard under your feet and a long and light paddle in your hand, you'll be gliding accross the water on your very first lesson regardless of your age or athletic ability! Our lessons take place where sea turtles play and ocean life thrives.

2. Do I have to know how to surf?

No. You don't have to know how to surf! We'll be exploring the still, smooth, secluded waters of the North Shore for an awesome flat water experience. You'll be hooked!

3. Do I have to know how to swim?

No. We have life jackets available upon request, free of charge. Your instructor will be a certified lifeguard. You'll be in safe hands.

4. Am I too young, old, big or small?

Participants must be at least 7 years old and in good health to paddle solo. Younger children ages 4-6 are also welcome and will ride with an instructor. This sport is for kids young and old. There are tons of stand up paddlers well over 70 years old! Our boards can handle paddlers up to 250 pounds. We've had heavier paddlers succeed as well; we just can't guarantee the board stability over 250 lb

5. What do I need to bring?

Swimsuit, smiles and REEF-SAFE sunscreen. To protect our reef, please do not use sunscreen containing Oxybenzone, Octycrylate, or the other unpronouncable ingredients that kills the reef. Sunscreen with Zinc and Titanium Dioxide are best. Don't have some? No worries — we have some here for you to use.

6. What about rain, weather, and ocean conditions?

Hey, we're on a tropical island and it wouldn't be paradise without the rain. A light Hawaiian mist makes for great paddling. However, if it's really coming down, we'll reschedule your lesson for another convenient time. If in doubt, call first. While it's raining hard on one side of the island, it can be bright and sunny on the other. If in doubt, call us to confirm the lesson. Likewise, if we deem the ocean conditions for the day dangerous for any reason at all, we will do our best to reschedule your lesson to another convenient time, otherwise, you'll receive a full refund.

7. I'm just one person. Can I join a group lesson?

Yes!

8. Where do I go for my lesson?

For SUP lessons, meet near Haleiwa Beach Park on the North Shore of Oahu in Haleiwa just down the road from Beachhouse Restaurant (62-540 Kamehameha Hwy. Haleiwa, HI 96712). Park anywhere along the beach and look for our AWESOME RAINBOW VAN! Click here to view map.

9. How long does it take to get there?

From Waikiki, it's a beautiful 45-60 minute drive to either the North Shore or East Coast locations. On your way to the North Shore you'll pass through the center of the island, through the pineapple fields, and to the beautiful beaches of the North Shore. From Turtle Bay Resort near Kahuku, give it about 30 minutes unless there's a surf contest, then give it 45. From Haleiwa Town, it's like 30 seconds east/north. Once you get to the east side of Haleiwa, there's only one road that goes all the way around the island. It's on that road. The lesson location is minutes from Sunset Beach, Pipeline, and Waimea Bay. Give us a call and we'll be happy to give you more specific instructions if needed.

10. What payment do you accept?

Pay Online: e-check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners, JCB, FXSource, PayPal, Debit Card or PayPal Pay Later. If none of these options work for you, give us a call and we can make another arrangement.

11. Is gratuity included?

Our instructors are so grateful to receive gratuity! You can add this to your online booking simply tip them direct at your lesson. Thank you!!!

12. Do you do events, parties, youth groups, etc.?

You'd better believe it! In fact you can book us for the whole day and we'll give continual lessons for your party or work group. Give us a call, tell us about your group, and we'll take care of the rest.

13. What is your refund and rescheduling policy?

14. What if I am pregnant, have a disability, or another special need?

Great! We welcome all paddlers. As a low-impacet sport, stand up paddling is great for people with a range of special needs. If necessary, we can modify your lesson to accommodate your needs. Don't let your special need get in the way of an ocean of fun!

This resolves the two-address question

An earlier open question asked whether 62-540 Kamehameha Hwy is the business address or a meeting point. Q8 answers it from the client's own page: "meet near Haleiwa Beach Park... just down the road from Beachhouse Restaurant (62-540 Kamehameha Hwy. Haleiwa, HI 96712)." 62-540 is the meeting point. That leaves 62-449 (per Yelp) as the business address for NAP purposes — still worth client confirmation, but the ambiguity is now one-sided.

Q8 still sells surf lessons

Its full text continues: "For Surf lessons, location varies according to conditions but will be within 10 minutes from our primary location. Expect a phone call..." Surf lessons are confirmed discontinued. This copy must not migrate as-is.

These specific URLs are what real, external websites link to. 06-SEO-Preservation's redirect map covers all of them — this table exists so the why (real, countable external links, not a guess) sits next to the actual numbers.

Surfaced by pulling real content instead of describing it — not yet resolved.

The $100/day Kayak Rental price has no confirmed live-page source — the rentals page only says "ask us," no number given anywhere fetched.

A third phone number, (808) 372-9304, needs client confirmation — real number, typo, or defunct.

The 1/2 Day Coastal Eco-Adventure content is still fully live on the current site despite being confirmed discontinued — a timing note, not a rebuild concern.

Alt text was pulled from the site mirror separately from the Screaming Frog export (which ran without an alt-text column) — 120 of 126 referenced images carry real alt text, 5 are correctly empty (decorative), 1 (book-now-small-blue.png) has no alt attribute at all and needs one before launch.

This page covers sections 1 through 12 of Documentation/Finalized/07-Preservation-Itemization.md. Section 8e (blog post metadata) and 8g (internal link map) are not yet transcribed — full text for those, plus the complete 50-page meta description table and the complete 126-file alt-text table, lives in the source document.
